Courtney Edmondson, M.A., LMHCA
It can be easy to feel hopeless and stuck in our difficult circumstances. Asking for help is a brave step, and it’s my hope that from the moment you ask, you would know that you have someone with you as you navigate life’s many challenges. I believe that no matter how difficult your past and current situation, there is hope for freedom and peace. As your counselor, my desire is that you would feel heard, valued and that together we can walk down the path of healing.
I use an integrative approach to counseling combining elements of attachment theory, family systems, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and interpersonal psychotherapy to care for both individuals and couples, as well as drawing on my own life experiences. My style is empathetic, down to earth, and growth-oriented.
When choosing a counselor, I believe the most important factor to consider is how comfortable and safe you feel with the counselor. If you are ready to have an advocate as you walk through the hard things in life, it would be my privilege to talk with you and see if we are a good fit.
When not counseling I enjoy traveling with my husband, going on walks with my daughter, and exploring the beauty of the PNW!
