Lindsay Regan, M.A., LMHCA
We are created to live lives of flourishing wholeness and to experience secure and healthy connections with others and ourselves. Unfortunately, we live in a broken world, and we all experience suffering, distress, or relational difficulty at different times in our lives.
Because we are created for relationships, we can’t heal alone. We need others to come alongside us to offer empathy, insight, support and hope as we navigate a way forward through our challenges. I seek to offer you a safe and trusted space to process the vulnerable parts of your story. We will collaboratively explore relationships and patterns influencing current behaviors, thoughts, beliefs, and feelings. The goal will be to uncover the root causes of your concerns and address past wounds that keep you stuck and hold you back from the wholeness you were created for.
I use a relational and trauma-informed approach, drawing upon evidence-based models such as attachment theory, emotion-focused therapy, and internal family systems theory. I am passionate about helping women through life transitions, including the perinatal period, helping individuals heal from trauma, and supporting people toward healthy and connected relationships.
In addition to my clinical training, I bring varied life experience to the counseling process. I have experience in social work, reproductive healthcare, and counseling in university and ministry settings. I have served alongside my husband in pastoral ministry to college students, young adults, and the local church for twenty years. We have walked with individuals and couples through grief, loss, broken relationships, trauma, ministry pain, health diagnoses, premarital counseling, marital distress as well as other challenges and suffering.
I believe the therapeutic process will cultivate hope, provide practical skills, and help you realize change in your life. I look forward to connecting with you and would consider it a privilege to come alongside you as you seek understanding, healing, and growth.
Outside of work, I love being a mom, spending time with my family, cheering my daughters on in their endeavors, connecting deeply with others, and outdoor adventures.
